DIRECTIONS & PARKING

On-site parking is available on a first come first serve basis. On Friday and Saturday, the fee is $5 for every 20 minutes or a maximum of $40 for the day. Payment is cashless so you must pay using a QR code on your phone.

Accessibility

The City Market welcomes guest with disabilities and will make every effort to comply with state and federal accessibility regulations to accommodate the guest’s needs.

The following approved devices are allowed inside The City Market: walkers, canes, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, crutches, and medical strollers. Registered service dogs may be allowed into The City Market if properly identified as a service animal.

FAQs

WHERE DO WE PARK?

On-site parking on Friday and Saturday is first come first serve and subject to hourly parking charges of $5.00 for every 20 minutes or a maximum of $40.00 for the day.  POST is a cashless parking site and you must be able to pay online to park. For addtional information visit www.posthtx.com. Other options to consider are ride share services or arriving by Metro Rail.

Will I be able to purchase a ticket at the door?

General Admission is complimentary. Tickets to The City Market Special Events will be available for sale at the door in limited quantities.

Will there be a place to check my purchases, so I do not have to carry them?

Yes, there will be a place to check bags for a nominal cost of $5.00 for a maximum of 3 packages. Personal items such as handbags, wallets, etc. may not be placed in the package check.

WILL I BE ABLE TO PURCHASE RAFFLE TICKETS DURING THE CITY MARKET?

YES!! The City Market Raffle tickets will be on sale until 2:55 pm on Saturday, April 6. Raffle items will be displayed during the Market. The drawing for winners will be at 3 pm on Saturday, April 6. You do not need to be present to win.

Can I volunteer to help?

If you are not a member of HJF but would like to volunteer, please contact us at contact@thecitymkt.org for more information. HJF would love your support.

Will there be security during the event?

Yes

Do children need tickets to enter market?

General Admission to The City Market is complimentary. No strollers, carts, shopping bags with wheels, wagons etc. are allowed on the show floor during The City Market.

Are there ATMs available?

No

Accessible parking and rams are available at each side of the building.  Wheelchair accessible elevators and restrooms are available. Registered service dogs may be allowed into The City Market if properly identified as a service animal.

Is there valet parking?

Valet parking is not available at POST.

Where can I find baby changing stations?

There is a baby changing table in all of the POST restroom facilities.

What items are prohibited in the market?

Safety concerns prohibit remote-controlled vehicles including cars, golf carts, hover boards, or drones.  Weapons, firearms. air horns, whistles, noisemakers, and fireworks are prohibited. Pets are not allowed into the market with the exceptions of registered and identifiable service animals.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes, lost and found is located at the Package Check Station

Is there a first aid station?

Basic first aid services will be available at The Package Check Station

Where are the restrooms located?

Restrooms are located just outside the market entrance in the north corridor of the 2nd floor.

What are the COVID 19 and health/safety restrictions?

The City Market will follow the current CDC policy recommendations.
